Jesy Nelson, the 34-year-old former Little Mix star, stirs dating speculation during a Friday night out with an unidentified man, just three months after parting ways with Zion Foster.

Evening Out Fuels Buzz

Nelson shared an Instagram Story photo capturing a cocktail outing that hints at a date. A man’s hand holds one drink while she grips her glass stem, both seated at a bar. Earlier that day, she played padel, adding to her social activities.

Recent Split and Family Focus

The couple ended their four-year relationship in January, shortly after announcing their twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, received a diagnosis of SMA Type 1, a rare genetic disorder leading to muscle weakness.

Sources confirm Nelson and Foster remain amicable and prioritize their daughters’ well-being through united co-parenting efforts. During a This Morning appearance discussing the twins’ condition, Nelson appeared without her engagement ring.

Challenges of Pregnancy and Diagnosis

Nelson faced a high-risk pregnancy with her monochorionic diamniotic (MCDA) identical twins, who developed twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) due to sharing a placenta. The girls arrived healthy, but joy turned to concern six months later with the SMA diagnosis.

Now, Nelson advocates for mandatory newborn screening for spinal muscular atrophy in England, emphasizing that early detection enables a single infusion treatment to boost muscle development significantly.

Zion Foster’s Poignant Reflection

Four days post-split, Foster posted a self-penned poem on acceptance amid his daughters’ condition. He recited: “They said it’s unlikely you’ll walk, you may not be able to talk, probably won’t be able to hold your head up, that’s what me and Jesy heard – SMA Type 1.”

He continued: “And it became so clear, doctors only go near what they can measure, so what’s certain? I watch your smiles like sunsets, not promised, but real. I listen to you babble the sweetest melodies, in the moment it makes me wonder, if I keep telling you who I want you to be, what I want you to do, what I expect from you, am I loving you, or am I loving my fear?”

Foster added: “If I take you for how God knitted you, just as you are, nothing removed, am I loving you? Am I accepting you? Story, is your heart okay? Ocean, how’s your mind? I hear strength in your lungs every time you cry, two little warrior girls who already know how to fight.”

His concerns center on unconditional love: “Honestly, my worry isn’t the milestones, isn’t forcing life to live a different way. My worry is quieter than that, deeper. It’s about accepting you, loving you for who you are right now, without conditions. No matter what tomorrow brings, and no matter what yesterday was.”

In the caption, Foster commended Nelson’s push for SMA newborn screening: “Jesy addressing a huge flaw in our healthcare system is the definition of a superwoman. Reality is, it’s indefensible and needs to be changed, simple. Test kids at birth for SMA in the UK now that there are revolutionary treatments available.”

Representatives for Nelson have not commented on the evening out.
