Lacking coins, she briefly drops her credit card into the water but quickly retrieves it.
The Trevi Fountain, completed in 1762, attracts over 1,000 visitors hourly. Tourists traditionally toss coins to ensure return visits or good luck. Perry captions her post, “Just Rome’ing around,” alongside photos and videos from her journey.

Victoria Police confirm an investigation. A spokesman states: “Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010. Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD. As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”
Perry vehemently denies the claims. Her representative declares: “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies.
