Model Madeline Holtznagel has ignited speculation about a potential engagement to hospitality magnate Justin Hemmes. The 29-year-old was observed sporting a substantial diamond ring on Monday as she disembarked a seaplane near the Vaucluse waterfront residence she shares with the 53-year-old Merivale boss.
Holtznagel was accompanied by her one-year-old son, Jaeger, along with Justin Hemmes’ former partner, Kate Fowler, and their two daughters, Alexa, aged nine, and Saachi, aged seven. In a seemingly cordial moment, Fowler appeared to offer an air kiss of congratulation to Holtznagel as they walked together on the sand.
Fashionable Arrival
For the outing, Holtznagel opted for a comfortable yet stylish ensemble, wearing a cream tracksuit paired with white sandals. She carried her belongings in a distinctive Gucci tote bag, estimated to be worth $4,000. Her hair was styled in a simple chignon, and she accessorized with $1,000 Chanel sunglasses and gold hoop earrings.
The prominent ring is believed to feature a round-cut diamond set within a halo design, with a rose gold band.
Weekend Getaway and Family Celebrations
This sighting follows a weekend spent on the NSW South Coast, where Holtznagel and Hemmes attended the launch of Merivale’s latest luxury establishment in Narooma, The Whale. During their trip, the couple also celebrated their son Jaeger’s first birthday with a private family gathering.
Hemmes and Holtznagel, who have been a couple since 2019, generally maintain a private personal life, making only occasional appearances at select public events. They are also known for fostering a blended family dynamic, having recently attended the opening night of the Tropfest short film festival with Hemmes’ two eldest daughters from his previous relationship.
Past Pregnancy Announcements
Holtznagel announced the birth of her first child with Hemmes via Instagram in June 2025, sharing a series of intimate photographs. The caption read: ‘Jaeger Justin Hemmes. 1.06.25.’
Previously, in an interview with Stellar magazine, she revealed her anticipation for a son, expressing excitement for a “new journey” with Hemmes. She stated, “I always thought I was going to have a boy. I knew I was going to be a boy mum.” Holtznagel also mentioned that having a son would be a “whole new journey together” and that the baby would be “his little best mate.””
She further elaborated on her preference for privacy during her pregnancy, noting, “I keep a lot of my life private and I don’t share a lot online anyway, so [being pregnant] wasn’t really something that I was going to share online.” However, she acknowledged that due to their public profiles, she felt comfortable sharing photos at a later stage of her pregnancy.
