Married At First Sight Australia bride Bec Zacharia delivers her most candid interview yet, accusing co-star Gia Fleur of orchestrating a betrayal during a heated dinner party confrontation.
The Dinner Party Blowup
Bec, a 35-year-old account manager matched with Danny Hewitt, describes the Wednesday night dinner party argument as deplorable, awful, and horrific. She claims Gia, also 35, feigned friendship to sabotage her relationship with Danny out of jealousy.
“I feel like I have been set up by Gia in this moment because she started off the episode saying, ‘Bec and I have a mutual hatred for Stella and Alissa,'” Bec states. “That’s just never come out of my mouth. I think Stella Mickunaite is the most incredible human being ever.”
Bec traces her tension with Alissa Fay to reports Gia and Scott McCristal that Alissa viewed her bond with Danny as fake. “That’s where that anger and animosity towards Alissa comes from for me,” she explains.
Claims of Obsession and Betrayal
Bec addresses allegations from Gia and Brook Crompton that Danny called Gia “his type.” She argues true friends would handle such information privately rather than publicly. “Gia is obsessed with my husband. His name has been in her mouth from the get-go,” Bec asserts.
She reaffirms trust in Danny, rejecting claims he expressed attraction to Gia at Bondi Icebergs. “I do not believe Danny said that. Gia speaks more about Danny than she does her own husband,” Bec contends.
Bec accuses Gia of jealousy, noting early comments labeling Scott and Danny as the hottest husbands and ranking Danny highly in a photo challenge. “She was jealous that Danny was matched with me, because he was more her type,” she says. “She’s calculated. She knows exactly what she’s doing.”
Accountability and Producer Claims
Bec dismisses Gia’s assertions that producers manipulated the attacks on Stella and Alissa. “This is not an edit. What happened is what happened,” she insists. “No producer can make you go in there and scream at people.”
She accepts her own role: “I have to take accountability as well. I did yell at Alissa. I didn’t stand up for Stella when Brook was being vile.”
Bombshell Real Name Reveal
In a stunning disclosure, Bec reveals Gia’s real name is Cassandra. “The moment I met Cassandra, I didn’t like her. I feel like I should have trusted my intuition,” she says.
Danny echoed this on the MAFS: After The Dinner Party series, referring to her as “Cass.”
Danny’s Perspective
Danny Hewitt shares a forgiving stance on the drama. “I don’t hold a grudge. I wish her well,” he states. “My innocence has been proven, and I’ve moved on. They’re people who made mistakes that we all have in life.”
