Authorities in Saskatchewan and Manitoba have charged three residents from Saskatchewan and one man from Alberta with multiple drug-related offenses following a major bust.
Five-Month Investigation Leads to Coordinated Raids
Officers from Regina, Saskatoon, and Brandon police forces conducted a five-month probe that culminated in search warrants executed at four locations on February 7. The raids targeted two homes in Regina, one residence in Davidson, Saskatchewan, and another in Brandon, Manitoba.
During the searches, police seized methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and $25,700 in cash. Officials estimate the total street value of the drugs and cash exceeds $650,000.
Suspects Face Serious Charges
A 43-year-old man from Edmonton, Alberta, and a 56-year-old woman from Stockholm, Saskatchewan, face charges of instructing the commission of an offense for a criminal organization, along with drug trafficking and possession counts.
Additionally, a 50-year-old man from Regina and a 54-year-old woman from Moosomin, Saskatchewan, are charged with committing an offense for a criminal organization and drug trafficking.
All four individuals made their initial court appearances in Regina Provincial Court on February 9 and are scheduled to return later this week.
