Stacey Solomon returned to filming her family reality series Stacey & Joe on Wednesday, sporting her wedding ring. The 36-year-old BBC favorite shot scenes at Scotts Tulip Farm in Brentwood, close to her £1.2 million home, Pickle Cottage. She appeared upbeat, chatting animatedly with close friend Emma Parr as cameras captured the moments. Notably absent was her husband, Joe Swash, 44.

Filming Delays Due to Home Tensions

Production for the third series recently restarted after scheduling disruptions from personal challenges at home. Crews had been scheduled to begin in December, but mounting issues between Stacey and Joe halted progress. Sources confirm tensions escalated behind the scenes at Pickle Cottage.

Third Series Greenlit with New Focus

The BBC approved the third season last week, continuing to document the couple’s blended family life. The show highlights daily activities with their children: Rex, 6; Rose, 4; and Belle, 3. Stacey also parents Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, from prior relationships, while Joe shares son Harry, born in 2007, with a former partner.

Previous seasons covered milestones like Belle’s first nursery day, Zachary’s 17th birthday, and family ski trips. This installment spotlights Joe’s project to construct a fishing lake on their countryside estate. Unlike the six-episode prior runs, season three features just three episodes.

Addressing Marriage Speculation

The renewal follows persistent rumors about their relationship. Stacey recently addressed speculation after appearing without her ring. Their 2022 garden wedding at Pickle Cottage, attended by family and celebrities, lacked legal status. Sources indicate the couple always planned to formalize it but delayed amid raising six children and demanding schedules.

“They always intended to do the legal part, but with six kids and busy diaries just haven’t got round to it,” a source close to the family explained. “Life has got in the way. Stacey and Joe knew their garden wedding wasn’t legal and were upfront about that.”

Stacey maintains successful family fashion lines with Asda and Primark. Industry observers note potential concerns among brands and executives over perceptions of their family image.
