A 25-year-old childcare worker faces assault charges after allegedly slapping two boys, aged three and four, at a center in Sydney’s Panania suburb.

The alleged assault took place around 1 p.m. on Thursday, when the man reportedly struck the children with an open hand while they were in his care.
Arrest and Charges
Police arrested the man on Saturday and transported him to Bankstown Police Station. Authorities charged him with two counts of common assault. He is scheduled to appear in bail court later on Sunday.
