Devastating Collision Claims Lives in Turkey
A horrific bus accident has resulted in the deaths of eight individuals, including a nine-month-old baby and his father. The vehicle subsequently caught fire following a collision with highway barriers. The incident occurred in the Denizli province of Turkey at approximately 1:40 AM local time on May 31.
Details of the Catastrophe
The bus, operated by Pamukkale Tourism, was en route from Izmir to the coastal city of Antalya, carrying 38 passengers and three staff members. The crash led to 33 people sustaining injuries. Among the fatalities were the 50-year-old bus driver and the infant’s father. Eyewitness accounts and photographic evidence from the scene depict the bus reduced to a charred wreck on the roadside.
